From 14 January 2010 http://www.silverfernfarms.co.nz has taken a big step forward with a new look, new functionality and more information – all part of bringing Silver Fern Farms’ integrated plate to pasture strategy to life.
Each element of the website has been reviewed and updated, with a real focus on showcasing the company's extensive product range with seamless navigation through both product and services. Farmer partners, customers and consumers will find the new site has loads of information, videos and product detail.
Keith Cooper, Chief Executive of Silver Fern Farms says the site is a quantum leap ahead, touching on every element of the business. "We spoke to consumers and realised there was a real desire to be educated on how to get the best meal experience from quality meat, so the site is highly interactive and consumers can find hints and tips on how to cook meat, download recipes and even watch 'live' cooking demonstrations by a top chef."
Shareholders and investors are able to access easy to read financial information and live share price information, while job vacancies are also listed for potential employees. A new feature is a merchandise catalogue where visitors and staff alike can buy Silver Fern Farms attire and other branded items online.
"We continue to raise the bar, and set new industry standards in driving brand awareness. A company’s website is often the first real exposure people have to an organisation. It therefore needs to set the right tone, provide relevant information and uphold our brand values to our supplier partners and owners, customers, consumers and staff."
